BBH Christmas Cracker 10K Race
Because it was popular last year, just before Christmas, we thought we would try to put on a 10K club event again. It would be ideal for those who have not yet had a chance to try a proper competition and seasoned campaigners. It will be held at Ringsfield which is reasonably local for people at both of our training venues.
Medals and a bottle of water will be awarded to all competitors and small prizes to the winning Male, Female, Best Age Graded.

Date: Sunday 12th December 10-12noon
Entries Closing date is Monday 6th December 21.
Race Headquarters: Ringsfield Village Hall, Church Rd, Ringsfield Corner, Beccles NR34 8NT
Help: If you cannot run or know people who would help on the morning – just let us know! We need 4-5 people to act as road marshals on the route plus some help with refreshments.
Start Times: Start times will again be staggered (and you will be allocated a start time – which will be emailed/posted once the closing date for entries has been reached) to avoid the necessity for people to congregate and will be based upon a guestimate of your likely 10K time. Those a little faster will start slightly later!
Safety Notes: Will be sent out to you are day or two before the race and you will be expected to collect a race number before you start – so leave a bit of time to attach to your clothing.
Warm-ups: Do remember to come a little earlier than your start time – so you can warm-up (suggest at least 15 minutes before your start time).
Juniors: Must be 15 years (on the day) or older to run (based on UKA rules).
- Due to COVID-19, masks should be worn if you go inside the hall (even for the toilet).
- Refreshments: We hope to have Tea, coffee, mince pies – available.
- The cost to run is £5. Payment on the day (with exact change please).
- Parking is readily available on site.
Should COVID-19 Regulations change and prevent this ‘live’ event from taking place, we will endeavour to progress it as a ‘virtual’ event on the same day.
